George Parsons was not involved with the gunfight. He was a respectable member of Tombstone who kept a journal during his time there. His journal would shed light in the events leading up to the gunfight along with the general feeling of that time. He was a friend of John Clum and later in life would be a pallbearer at Wyatt Earp's funeral.
