William Mclaury wasn't involved until after His brothers were killed. He was an attorney in Fort Worth. He left his family to help Ike Clanton convict the Earp party of murder.He would report back to his family that his Brothers were well liked and respected in Cochise county. He was very displeased with the trail verdict as well as many Earp supporters. William had many supporters in Tombstone and believed that the majority of the townsfolk sided against the Earps. His name has been linked to Morgan's murder along with the ambush of Virgil. (never as a shooter but as a conspirator)
